Scope of the present data protection policy

This data protection policy applies to the website managed by the NCCR Digital Fabrication. The NCCR Digital Fabrication however cannot guarantee that external websites accessible by links from the website comply with the NCCR Digital Fabrication’s data protection requirements. We therefore request that you consult the respective privacy policies of said third-party websites, because they are outside of the NCCR Digital Fabrication’s sphere of influence and thus do not lie in our area of responsibility.

Usage of Matamo analytics

To identify trends and improve the quality of our website, a few non-personal items of usage data, such as your IP address, the specific sites you visited, which browser you are using, date and time of access, are recorded through Matomo analytics (formerly PIWIK), a free web and mobile analytics service provided by InnCraft Ltd. Every time a visit is made to the website, these data are stored. As these informations are of non-personal nature, users cannot be identified personally on the basis of this information. The sole purpose of such information is to continuously further developing the website in order to ensure optimal userfriendliness.
